Idex and Navdex showcase a range of exciting new features

The International Defense Exhibition (Idex 2023) and the Naval Defense Exhibition (Navdex 2023) will showcase a wide range of new features, attracting leading players in the international defense industry.

Idex and Navdex will launch Idex Next Gen, a space dedicated to startups where entrepreneurs can showcase their solutions and technologies in the defense and naval space to industry leaders.

The events will also launch the Innovation Road, an exhibition-focused journey that highlights the latest products and innovations from the world’s leading brands for the defense and naval community.

Innovative products

As part of this curated journey, exhibitors will be able to submit their latest and most innovative products and solutions for selection, which will attract the interest of thousands of international and local buyers.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Adnec Group will host the 2nd edition of the event organized by Adnec Group at the National Stadium in Abu Dhabi from 20th to 24th February 2023. Exhibition center for the 16th Idex and 7th Navdex in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Defence.

Idex will mark the 30th edition of the event. These events are expected to attract high caliber participation, including leaders, policy makers, ministers and senior officials, as well as industry experts and professionals from around the world.

For the first time, Adnec will host a series of high-level roundtable discussions with renowned industry thought leaders and commentators as part of the event week. These leading industry experts will come together to discuss recent and critical topics surrounding the defense and naval industries and collaborate on key industry reports with results-based goals.

In terms of content, Idex and Navdex are the first of their kind, and both will provide dedicated free theaters for attendees to learn about the latest key industry topics. Navdex Talks, located in the brand new Dock Hall, will focus on the naval defense industry, while Idex Talks will include sessions covering a variety of fascinating topics relevant to the global defense sector. These topics include: Women and Defense Youth, Defense Heroes and Inspirational Masterclasses.

The events will also provide an area for defense history buffs. “Defense Through the Decades” will showcase interactive gallery-style highlights of the industry’s products and technologies from the past 30 years.

Idex and Navdex provide a leading global platform showcasing the latest international defense innovations and technologies, as well as state-of-the-art technologies and equipment developed by the defense industry around the world. The previous editions of the show in 2021 were a huge success, hosting over 62,000 visitors and over 900 local, regional and international companies from 59 countries in addition to hosting 35 national pavilions. — trade arab news agency
