Hallyu boy band iKON Signed a contract with the new agency 143 Entertainment, and it is reported that they are planning to come back in April this year.
On January 1, 143 Entertainment welcomed iKON to its line-up on its social media platforms, revealing that all six members of the group have signed after signing with their company Leave YG Entertainment December 30th.
“The members came together with the priority of continuing their group activities, and our thoughts are with 143 Entertainment, which we have interacted with musically for a long time,” said the boy group. Sports North Koreatranslator Shunpi.
iKON shared, “We will continue iKON’s music with even more enthusiasm in return for the warm support and love you have always given us.”
DM also added, “I feel relieved to have iKON, who has unique talents and energy, as a member of our family. In the future, we will actively support them in various fields so that they can carry out their music activities freely.”

according to News 1, the boy group is also gearing up to release a new album in April, though neither iKON nor 143 Entertainment have confirmed or denied these reports. If true, the upcoming album will mark their first comeback since “Flashback,” which was recorded in May 2022.
In announcing iKON’s departure, YG Entertainment said the group will continue to use its existing official social media platforms, including fan community app Weverse to connect with fans. “YG Entertainment will always look forward to their activities in different fields and wishes the members all the best for the future,” it added.
Besides iKON, 143 Entertainment currently owns some artists, including new girl group LIMELIGHT and Kepler Members Jiang Yishu and Zhenbai. And signed an exclusive contract with Korean rapper Dok2 in 2022.
