Istidamah was developed over a period of 6 months with the active participation of employees across the organization and encompasses four all-encompassing pillars: Public and Place, Planet, Prosperity and People. These pillars will guide and drive Imdaad as it strives to play a greater role for the prosperity of the UAE and the region, both within and outside the FM industry.

Under the Public and Places pillar, Imdaad will support the communities in which it operates by engaging with community stakeholders and protecting users from occupational risks. We will support UAE businesses and drive improvements in ‘Domestic Value’ performance and contribute 1% of our profits to the community through donations and volunteering.

Through the ‘Planet’ pillar, Imdaad will minimize its impact on the planet by reducing carbon emissions, implementing innovative recycling strategies, managing our biodiversity impact, maximizing the use of sustainable materials and reducing our customers’ water usage. We will work closely with our customers to support their sustainability efforts and drive improvements together.

The Prosperity Pillar aims to contribute to the UAE economy by delivering sustainable returns to shareholders and stakeholders, enhancing business profits, sustainably creating shareholder value, partnering with supply chains for mutually sustainable solutions, and providing professional facilities management services contribute. We will achieve this while ensuring the highest level of corporate governance.

The People pillar focuses on maintaining an inclusive and rewarding work environment by attracting, developing and retaining top talent, delivering industry-leading worker benefit solutions and engagement programs, ensuring equal opportunity and creating great workplaces. We will provide opportunities for Emiratis and provide career development opportunities for all employees.

Mr Jamal Abdulla Lootah, Imdaad Group CEO, expressed pride in the Group’s achievement and its importance to its long-term sustainability efforts, saying: “We are delighted to launch Imdaad’s Istidamah during the UAE Year of Sustainability. The strategy will help us continue to build a strong foundation for a sustainable future for the country and the wider region.
