True to the company’s name, Bespoke Sports & Entertainment’s new home in Charlotte includes many custom features, from benches made of Appalachian walnut with the company’s familiar “B” logo, to a 50-foot hand-painted mural Local artists featuring past Charlotte sports figures.
When Bespoke CEO Mike Boykin and President Greg Busch began scouting for a new office location, they looked at existing office space, but ultimately decided on a space with a story behind it.
“It was important to us to create a workspace environment that both reinforces our culture of creativity and collaboration, while demonstrating our ‘bespoke’ approach to our clients’ work through custom design elements throughout the office,” said Busch .
They chose to renovate and expand the former Raycom Sports site on West Morehead Street, about a mile west of Bank of America Stadium.
Late last summer, the company moved into new 5,500-square-foot headquarters in the city’s fast-growing FreeMoreWest neighborhood. About 20 employees work out of the office, which features an open-plan layout with a “bullpen” work area, games of shuffleboard and air hockey, a brainstorming lounge, and meeting rooms of various sizes. The cafe is fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, two beer taps and a selection of spirits.
The upstairs area includes a covered terrace with seating for outdoor parties and other events.
