For 13 years, Rishika Mihani has been one of the leading figures in the Indian TV industry.

Since her debut in “Raja ki Aayegi Baraat” in 2008, she has acted in several soap operas such as “Love Wedding Ya Arranged Marriage”, “Ishqbaaaz” and “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3” to name a few.

But now she has given up on acting to take on a new role.

Mihani has moved from Mumbai to Dubai to start a career in real estate.

“I have always loved Dubai and am excited to start my new life in this beautiful city,” said Mihani, who joined Business Bay real estate firm Range International Investments last week.

Mihani said she was unafraid of the challenge of venturing into a new field, as she has considerable experience in the real estate industry, having briefly worked at her brother’s Indian real estate firm Realistic Realty.

“Of course, this [Dubai] is a very different and diverse market. These are early days for me and I’m still trying to find my feet.Hopefully Dubai will accept me like Mumbai,” she told Cali era.

Mihani said she has started to enjoy her job.

“Every day I meet people from different countries and get to know their needs. Dubai is really a melting pot of cultures. The real estate market here is booming and I’m excited to be in the right place at the right time,” she said Say.

Mihani said her long-term work as an actress improved her pronunciation skills, which, according to her, helped her build immediate rapport with clients.

“Communication skills are important for real estate agents around the world, but in a competitive market like Dubai, communication skills are essential,” she said. “Clients from India often recognize me from my TV shows and it feels good,” she added.

Mihani said she doesn’t miss acting too much, since she’s been out of show business so soon.

“No one knows what fate has in store for them. I don’t close a door, I open a new one. Who knows I might return to show business in the future. But for now, I’m focusing on me as a real estate consultant work,” she said.

Mihani, originally from the western Indian state of Gujarat, worked as a flight attendant for the now-defunct Kingfisher Airlines before dabbling in show business.

She has also appeared in popular TV series such as “Adalat”, “CID” and “Saavdhan India”.
