Renowned YouTuber TTF Vasan, hailing from Tamil Nadu in southern India, was hospitalized following a bike crash on Sunday while attempting a stunt.
In surveillance footage, shared on social media, Vaigunda Vasan is observed executing a wheelie on his Suzuki Hayabusa, a bike with over 1000cc, on a busy road. However, as he raises the front wheel of the bike, he loses control and crashes into a nearby field at considerable speed.
Bystanders rush to his aid, and the video depicts the extensive damage to Vasan’s bike.
Local news sources reported that the accident occurred on September 17, around 4:32 PM local time, on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway near Baluchetty Chatram village, when Vasan, a resident of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, was riding.
Following the accident, local residents admitted Vasan to a nearby private hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for a hand fracture. Images of Vasan with his injured hand have circulated on the internet.
The police have charged Vasan with “reckless driving on a public road and causing harm by an action that endangered the lives and safety of others,” as stated in the report.
Vasan’s accident prompted numerous calls on social media to put an end to reckless and dangerous motorcycle riding.
