IndiGo adds flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai from Lucknow

lucknow: IndiGo will add two daily non-stop flights from Lucknow Airport to Abu Dhabi and Dubai from July 12, officials said on Friday.

A spokesman for Chaudhry Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) said in a statement that the airport’s average international flights will increase from 13 to 17 per day after adding round-trip flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. class.

“Abu Dhabi will be the new destination for Lucknow Air Indigo, which will restart operations to Dubai from July 12. Last month, Lucknow Airport added 2 flights. Dammam, and adding four more flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai from next month, the total number of average international flights will increase from 13 to 17 flights per day.”

The daily direct flight from Lucknow Airport to Abu Dhabi will depart at 18.20 and the Abu Dhabi to Lucknow flight will arrive at 03.25. The Lucknow-Dubai flight will depart at 13.30 and the Dubai-Lucknow flight will arrive at 22.20.

Lucknow Airport has successfully added three airlines, AirAsia India, Akasa Air, and AirAsia Thailand, to start operations in the state capital.

On average, around 18,000 passengers pass through Lucknow Airport on 120 flights per day.

For the first quarter of 2023-24, CCSIA recorded nearly 1.55 million passenger trips, the airport statement said.
