Industry leaders collaborate to assess feasibility of UAE SAF production

Masdar said in a statement: “This collaboration aims to strengthen the UAE’s leadership in low-carbon energy and technology-driven industrial growth and will mark a step forward in assessing the UAE’s potential to become a global leader in SAF production. Important step.”

IATA figures also show that the aviation industry is a major player in the UAE’s economy, accounting for more than 13 percent of the country’s gross domestic product.
