International flights: IndiGo launches new flights to Abu Dhabi from these Indian cities

Latest update on international flights: IndiGo says the new flight will operate daily and will depart Lucknow at 18:20 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 20:55. The return flight will depart Abu Dhabi at 21:55 and arrive in Lucknow at 03:25.

Latest updates on international flights: IndiGo, India’s largest domestic carrier, has launched new flight services from Lucknow and Ahmedabad to Abu Dhabi. Flight services on these routes will commence on July 12, 2023 and August 11, 2023, respectively. Notably, the airline started the service to enhance international connectivity and meet growing demand for travel to the Middle East.

According to the latest news from the airline, the new flight will operate daily and will depart Lucknow at 18:20 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 20:55. The return flight will depart Abu Dhabi at 21:55 and arrive in Lucknow at 03:25.

Likewise, IndiGo will launch new flights between Ahmedabad and Abu Dhabi from 11 August 2023. These new flights will operate daily and will depart Ahmedabad at 20:00 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 21:35. The return flight will depart Abu Dhabi at 22:35 and arrive in Ahmedabad at 03:10.

Flight service in multiple cities

Currently, IndiGo operates flights to Abu Dhabi from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Cochin and Hyderabad. Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced plans to attract 24 million tourists by 2023, while IndiGo’s new flights have launched.

In a statement, IndiGo said the flights are designed to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers, and will further enhance the airline’s international connectivity.

The new flights on the Lucknow-Abu Dhabi and Ahmedabad-Abu Dhabi routes will greatly improve the convenience of passengers traveling from the northern and western regions of India to the cosmopolitan capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Earlier in the day, the airline also announced a new flight connecting Mumbai and Jakarta from 7 August. The airline said the introduction of these new flights on the route is in view of the growing demand for travel to Indonesia.
