Intertek Cristal awards Sheraton Abu Dhabi with five health and safety accreditations

ABU DHABI, UAE – Intertek Cristal, a market-leading global health, safety, quality and security risk management company focused on the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, today announced that it has awarded five different accreditations to Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resorts , based on Intertek Cristal standards for health and safety, sanitation, water safety and food safety requirements.

The Sheraton Abu Dhabi Resort is listed as a historic building in Abu Dhabi while providing a modern luxury experience, partnered with Intertek Cristal to establish a proactive risk management system to ensure the safety and well-being of guests, visitors and staff, using Intertek Cristal designed for Five risk management modules designed for the industry. Intertek certified the Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel and Resort’s RoomCheck, AquaCheck, PoolCheck, FoodCheck and FireCheck following a six-month independent audit to verify validity and compliance with these standards.

Known for its location and restaurants on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, the Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel and Resorts accreditation program helps management identify risks related to health and safety and assists them in effectively planning, prioritizing and managing the hotel’s agreement in the course of its operation. From housekeeping to food hygiene, water, pool and fire safety systems, Intertek works closely with the management team to implement best practice across all these functions.
