Ishraq Hospitality appoints Richard Haddad as CEO

Ishraq Hospitality, the asset management and hospitality arm of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group, has appointed Richard Haddad as its new chief executive, with a focus on driving growth from its large hotel portfolio and regional expansion.

Prior to joining Ishraq Hospitality, Haddad was CEO of Jannah Hotels and Resorts where, within his first year in office, he led the company to significant double-digit profit growth, opened a new brand hotel and completed the Acquisition of newly opened hotels and many other achievements.

During his extensive Middle East career, Richard has also held management positions with a number of well-known hotel groups in the Middle East, including Director of Product Development for the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.

As CEO, Haddad will be directly responsible for driving the success and profitability of Ishraq Hospitality, overseeing the day-to-day operations of eight IHG properties including Holiday Inn Express (HIEX), Staybridge Suites, as well as Crowne Plaza Deira and Crowne Plaza Dubai Jumeirah, a series of exciting new hotels is about to open.
