Israel orders Gaza City civilian evacuation within 24 hours

Israel’s military has ordered over 1 million Gaza City civilians to move south within 24 hours, as they deploy tanks for a potential ground invasion. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declared it a time of war following Hamas attacks that killed over 1,300 Israelis.

The UN expressed concerns about the humanitarian impact of such a mass relocation.

Israel continues to strike military targets in Gaza, targeting tunnels, compounds, and weapon storage. However, a ground invasion poses risks with Hamas holding hostages.

The Gaza Strip is under siege, and the situation has caused severe suffering for civilians.
