Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man in an exchange of fire in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
The violence erupted after Israel destroyed a Palestinian’s home in an attack earlier this year.
The military said they demolished an apartment in the West Bank city of Jenin that belonged to Raed Hazem, the gunman who opened fire in a Tel Aviv bar in April.

The military said that “violent riots broke out during the operation, including throwing stones, incendiary bombs, throwing explosives and mass shootings” at troops, and soldiers returned fire.
A 29-year-old man was killed in the fighting and 16 others were wounded, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa identified the man as Mohammad Musa Saabaneh. It is unclear if he was armed or involved in the conflict.
Israel insists on a policy of demolishing Palestinian attackers’ homes. Israeli officials say the demolition deterred future attacks, while human rights groups see it as a form of collective punishment.
Israel has carried out almost daily arrest raids in the West Bank for months, following a spate of deadly attacks on Israelis earlier this year that killed 19 people.
The attacks included the fatal shooting by Hazem, who opened fire on a crowded Tel Aviv bar. He was later killed in a shootout with Israeli security forces.

Dozens of Palestinians were killed during that time, many of them militants or those involved in the conflict, but civilians were also killed, including one who accidentally drove through the war zone, and one Senior Al Jazeera correspondent who covered the attack.
Israel said the arrest raid was aimed at dismantling a militant network that had embedded itself in it, particularly around the West Bank city of Jenin, which has become a bulwark in the armed struggle against Israel.
Palestinians say the actions are aimed at maintaining Israel’s 55-year military occupation of territory they want to create an independent state.
Israel occupied the West Bank as well as East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip in the 1967 Middle East war, and Palestinians searched these territories for a future state.
