Taylor James Williams is now a Golden Globes Winner after winning Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, Comedy or Drama for his role in a film Abbott Elementary School.
After accepting his first Golden Globe trophy, the actor opened his speech thanking him Abbott Elementary School The costars and crew said, “I love you guys. It’s an honor to work with you every day,” before shouting out to the series creators and stars, Quinta Brunson.
Discussing his role on the show, Williams, 30, continued, “I pray it’s a victory for Gregory Eddie and his story and stories like it that we might understand, but his story As important as all other stories must be told here. Thank you so much.”

williams beat John Lithgow (that old man), Jonathan Price (crown), John Turturro (Severance pay) and Henry Winkler (barry) rewards.
Williams plays Gregory Eddy, a substitute teacher at a public school in downtown Philadelphia, on the ABC sitcom written and starring Brunson, 33, who first worked with Brunson on HBO’s Black Ladies Sketch Show.
“Quinta sent me a private message and said, ‘Hey, I have this idea and I think we can do it,'” Williams previously told teen fashion. “My first reaction was, ‘Yeah, she’s funny. This could be funny.’ “
brunson told Busy Williams “really embodies the normal guy I want Gregory to be.”
“I know he has a sense of humor for certain quirks,” she continued. “We all approach comedy in a similar way. For Janine and Gregory, it makes them more interesting than most potential on-screen love interests.”
