Angel – Jamie Lee Curtis made her long-awaited debut Oscar Nominations count.
Curtis by virtue of the ” All at the same time. “ She plays an IRS agent who has multiple guises in different timelines across the multiverse.
“Both my mother (Janet Lee) and my father (Tony Curtis) were nominated for Oscars in different categories,” Curtis cried as he accepted the award. “I just won an Oscar!”
The 64-year-old actor became the eighth-oldest winner in the category’s history. She overtook Judi Dench, who was nominated for her role in Shakespeare in Love.
Curtis has starred in numerous films, including films in the “Halloween” franchise beginning in 1978, as well as other notable projects such as “Trading Places,” “My Girl,” “True Lies” and “Knives Out.” But it was her performance in “Everything at the Same Time” that finally landed her in the Oscars record books.
Last month, Curtis won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Curtis defeated Angela Bassett, Kerry Condon, Hong Chau and Stephanie Hsu in category.
