Celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot Saturday for the second time in more than a month, in a lavish ceremony at the “Good Will Hunting” star’s estate, US media reported.
The top lovebirds had already married in Las Vegas in mid-July, but this time around a friend at the 87-acre (35-hectare) waterfront compound in Affleck, Georgia, in the southeastern U.S. Get married in front of your family.
Hollywood genres in attendance at the three-day event include longtime Affleck friend Matt Damon and director Kevin Smith, people magazine reports.
According to Fox News, the guests were dressed in all white, while Lopez was wearing a Ralph Lauren dress made in Italy.
Images posted ahead of the wedding by celebrity gossip site TMZ showed dinner seating arranged on what appeared to be a large covered pier, with a giant pyrotechnic barge floating nearby.
The two — he was 50, she was 53 — first met on the set of the acclaimed 2002 film “Geely.”
They caused a media sensation when they dated, but postponed their wedding, originally scheduled for 2003, before announcing their relationship ended in early 2004.
“Beniffer” — the couple’s public nickname during their first well-known relationship — took the internet by storm last year when pictures of them together began circulating again.
Lopez and Affleck announced their engagement in April.
Lopez posted a video of herself getting emotional and admiring the green ring in her newsletter, “On The JLo.” US media reports say the ring is an emerald-cut pale green diamond.
This is Lopez’s fourth marriage and Affleck’s second.
