American rapper and songwriter Kanye West’s honorary doctorate from the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been revoked by the institution, a report says.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, SAIC said, “The Art Institute of Chicago condemns and refutes Kanye West’s (now known as Ye’s) anti-black, anti-Semitic, racist, and dangerous remarks, especially those aimed at blacks and blacks. remarks. The Jewish community.”

An honorary doctorate was awarded to the rapper in 2015. This decision was made in response to a change.org petition initiated by members of the SAIC community.
“This award lends legitimacy and luster to the school, a figure who has made numerous public statements in recent months expressing and proving anti-Semitism.
