Kapil Sharma and Huma Qureshi summoned in betting app case

The Indian Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Kapil Sharma and Huma Qureshi regarding the Mahadev betting app case. Other celebrities and sports personalities who endorsed the app are also under suspicion.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor was recently summoned in the same case. The Mahadev app founders operate multiple similar apps, all generating substantial daily profits.

The ED’s investigation revealed a money laundering scheme connected to the Mahadev Online Book Betting app, which facilitated illegal betting and money laundering. The agency conducted searches across multiple locations, seized assets worth Rs4.17 billion, and obtained non-bailable warrants.
