The council discussed current and future government plans aligned with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision.
His Highness endorsed a government enablement plan presented by the Department of Government Support (DGS), focusing on human resources, digital infrastructure, and data-driven support. The plan aims to improve the customer experience and service effectiveness.
Additionally, plans from the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi to launch a Biobank project were approved. This initiative supports precision medicine through stem cell and tissue research for over 80 diseases, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position in life sciences research.
His Highness also reviewed Q2 performance reports from government departments, emphasizing the need for unified efforts, innovation, and coordinated services to achieve the leadership’s vision of a modern, progressive emirate known for excellence.”
