
KenQueen Entertainment is finally ready to launch its next boy band, whose name has been revealed to be Xikers.
At midnight KST on Feb. 24, the K-pop agency unveiled an engrossing “identity video” for the group, along with their new social media accounts, revealing the group’s name. As of press time, KQ Entertainment has not announced the xikers’ official debut date or details on their upcoming debut album.
The 10-man lineup of xikers—Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Hunter, Yujun, and Yechan—debuted in August as KQ Fellaz 2
The group has since performed at several K-pop festivals, including KCON Japan in 2022, along with some fellow label members Atezrecent concert. The group was recently confirmed to perform at KCON Thailand 2023 next month.
After debuting, xikers will join ATEEZ as the second act under KQ Entertainment’s main label. The company also manages the sub-brand Seven Seasons, which exclusively manages boy group Block B.
In other K-pop news, SM Entertainment announced that it will End the “infinite expansion” of the boy group NCT Following the launch of the Japanese unit NCT Tokyo in April this year. “We are officially announcing that there will be no further membership changes, and we will support existing members as much as possible to enable them to participate in a wider range of activities,” the agency said.
