Kuwait equestrian team debut at EWG Abu Dhabi

(Menarfin– Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, 24th February (KUNA) — The Kuwait National Equestrian Team will make its debut at the FEI World Endurance Championship (EWC) tomorrow Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
Equestrian athletes Farea Al-Waqian, Heba Al-Aish, Eman Al-Otaibi and Khaled Al-Omran will represent Kuwait in the 160-kilometre scramble, Ahmad Al-Ruwaished, head of the Kuwaiti delegation, told reporters on Friday.
He added that the team is preparing for the match at Boudheib Global Village and will be under the supervision of team coach Abdullah Al-Asfour and his assistant Mutlaq Al-Khalidi.
High hopes were also expressed for the team to take the top spot against some of the world’s best riders.
The race is scheduled to start at 5.45am and will be broadcast on Yass and Dubai Racing TV channels, as well as other international television channels. (end)
