Live Nation announced the acquisition of the TERO concert and entertainment division, expanding its growth in Thailand. The acquisition builds on the joint venture the two companies established in 2015.
Live Nation Tero was established in 2015 to promote international performances and festivals by Western artists and bring regional performances to Thailand. With the new acquisition of Tero’s concert and entertainment (C&E) division in Thailand, Live Nation Tero has solidified itself as a formidable force ready to cover a broad roster of international and domestic talent.
Established in 1998, TERO C&E leads domestic tours, exhibitions, family entertainment, artist management and musicals in Thailand. The company has a well-established family entertainment offering in its diverse regional content portfolio and a solid partnership with the Disney On Ice franchise for over two decades.
Revenues from domestic talent shows in Thailand are expected to snowball between 2022 and 2025.The deal brings a respected domestic promoter into key Asian markets, expanding living country geographic range. Additionally, it deepens Live Nation’s strategy to provide new event opportunities for brand partners in the region, including Marriott, Mercedes, Pepsi, Samsung and Toyota.
