Schneider Electric and LMD Enter Memorandum of Understanding for Smart City Management Solutions

Global energy management and automation leader, Schneider Electric, and real estate front-runner, LMD, have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to introduce state-of-the-art sustainable solutions for smart city management in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. The collaboration, signed during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, focuses on specific projects such as One Ninety and Stei8ht in Egypt, along with LMD’s projects in Dubai, UAE.

Strategic Collaboration Initiatives

  • Implementation of smart building solutions and AVEVA software for efficient system and facility management.
  • Reduction of carbon emissions and promotion of environmentally friendly energy practices.
  • Deployment of AVEVA’s Unified Operations Center for enterprise-wide operations, enhancing system design and maintenance efficiency.
  • Introduction of scalable systems for process and facility integration, ensuring round-the-clock resource availability and functionality.
  • Supply of various systems, including medium voltage panels, building management systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and more.
