Lucas Blakeley was crowned in the 2022 F1 Esports Series Pro Championship on Friday night after finishing fourth in Abu Dhabi, earning him enough points.
After leading the title in the first round in Bahrain, Blakely entered the final with a 21-point gap to second place and only needed a top-eight finish to ensure success.
That was on the back of a dominant game in Brazil on Thursday night, where he secured his fourth win of 2022 to put himself on the championship cliff. Read more about Thursday’s game at the link below…

Josh Idowu took a surprise pole position in Abu Dhabi, his first in a professional championship. Off the line he was challenged by Thomas Ronhaar, whose title hopes were slim, prompting a strong first-lap result.
Ronhaar took the lead with Frede Rasmussen right behind him, passing Idowu on lap 3. However, Blakeley maintained his good P4 grid position, enough to seal the deal.
