These flights will be operated by IndiGo. Daily direct flights will begin operating on July 12.
“Abu Dhabi will become a new destination for IndiGo Lucknow, which will restart its flights to Dubai after suspending operations during the COVID-19 pandemic,” a CCSIA spokesperson said.
Last month, Lucknow added two flights to Dammam, and from next month to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, bringing the total number of average international flights to 17 per day.
The daily direct flight from Lucknow Airport to Abu Dhabi will depart at 18:20 and the Abu Dhabi to Lucknow flight will arrive at 03:25.
The Lucknow-Dubai flight will depart at 13:30 and the Dubai-Lucknow flight will arrive at 22:20.
Lucknow Airport has successfully added three airlines – AirAsia India, Akasa AirAsia and Thai AirAsia – to start operating from the state capital.
On average around 18,000 passengers pass through Lucknow Airport on 120 flights.
In the first quarter of 2023-24, CCSIA recorded nearly 1.55 million passenger trips.
