Magnitude 6.4 quake strikes Philippines per UAE’s NCM

On October 4, at 3:21 PM (UAE time), a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck the Philippines, as reported in an advisory by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The seismic event was detected by the monitoring stations of the National Seismic Network operated by the UAE’s NCM.

According to the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences, the earthquake was located in the southern Philippine Island of Mindanao.
