Irina Maknami has been an FEI 5* dressage judge since 2017, having started her judging career as far back as 2009 in Moscow. “I am delighted to see the National Equestrian Federation taking the initiative to organize the clinic. Many thanks to the UAE Equestrian Federation for not only organizing the clinic but also inviting people from the other 7 groups of countries. This is an important step in creating a dressage community, knowledge exchange and collaboration ,” said Diana al Shaer, Chairman of FEI Group 7.
“It was an informative, valuable and interesting course. Irina made me look at what we did differently. She also advocated positive judgment and working together to make the sport more inclusive I think it will forever change the way I think about what I do while riding,” said Mohamed Al Serkal, a member of the FEI Group 7 committee who attended the course.
