Malaysia Pavilion Announces Opening in October – Dubai Blog

Expo 2020 is a destination full of opportunities, and the Malaysia Pavilion is no exception. October is an exciting month for Expo organizers, pavilions and UAE residents, as the venue is open to the public.

Weekly activities include pocket talks, group discussions, product launches, business matching meetings and formalization of memorandums of understanding.

Malaysian Consul General in Dubai, Mohd Hasril Abdul Hamid, Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Center (MGTC) CEO Shamsul Bahar Mohammad Nor, and the main Ms. Fairul Azida Shahabudin will also attend the mixed event MOSTI Secretariat and guests at the amphitheater of the pavilion.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the Facebook EXPO2020Malaysia and Youtube channel Malaysia Expo 2020 Dubai in the Malaysia Pavilion and MOSTI on the Facebook of Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI).

Guests at the ceremony will watch a three-dimensional video to commemorate the press conference, and continue to visit the first-hand unique experience of the Malaysian Rainforest Canopy Pavilion and the message that the country hopes to deliver at the 2020 Dubai World Expo.

October 5day: Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM) and MOSTI will join forces on October 5thday Host the 2021 Malaysia International Technology Summit (MITS). The summit will gather international industry leaders to discuss technology ecosystems, innovation, and environmental issues. Visitors can look forward to panel discussions, master classes, a keynote speech by Dr. Adham Baba, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia, and a special speech by H Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of Artificial Intelligence in the Prime Minister’s Office, United Arab Emirates. MITS 2021 will also host two memorandum of understanding and agreement signing ceremonies. In addition, this is an opportunity to connect with leaders in science and technology.

After a few weeks under MOSTI’s leadership, the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources (KASA) will host a two-week program in October.

October 17day – twenty threeroad: The Malaysia Pavilion Green Technology Innovation Week, led by KASA and its agency Malaysia Green Technology and Climate Change Center, will be launched in the third week to promote green technology innovation, including ecological products and services. Highlights include the MyHijau Mark label that recognizes certified green products and services, and the “Malaysia Accelerated Green Technology and Climate Action Seminar” held on October 18.

October 24day– 30day: Last week’s program was titled “Climate Resilience and Sustainable Infrastructure”, and the next day an important event “Sustainable Infrastructure Climate Change Dialogue” will be held in the Terra Auditorium of the Expo venue. KASA Secretary-General Datuk Seri Dr Zaini Ujang will add glory to the project.

Mr. Shamsul Bahar Mohd Nor, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC) said: “The weekly trade and business plan aims to provide a platform for our industry to enter the global market through Expo 2020 Dubai. These companies include small and medium-sized companies. Companies, start-ups, companies preparing to export, and established companies.

“As a developing country, Malaysia can offer a lot on the road to becoming a developed country driven by science, technology and innovation. We welcome the international business community of the World Expo to join these programs and explore the potential for cooperation for our common prosperity.”

Visitors can enjoy daily cultural performances performed by the Ministry of Culture and Art (JKKN). Craftsmen from Kraftangan, Malaysia will also conduct three handicraft demonstrations every day to show visitors how to make hand-painted batik, weaving, jewelry and clothing beads.
