The Briton won the prestigious event in Abu Dhabi after a six-under-4 victory at Yas Links Golf Club in Abu Dhabi.
Dutton, who plays at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, has had a stellar amateur career so far. He was 8th in the UAE Junior Order of Merit for the 2018/19 season, was a member of the 2018 European Tour Elite Team and was a member of the 2020 Peter Cowan Academy Elite Team. He graduated from the College of Northern Idaho in 2020 and has struggled with the improvement of his game since then, which makes this win even sweeter.
“It’s been a long grind since leaving the US. Many days I just don’t see any improvement. Big thanks to everyone who has helped me and supported me over the past year, I wouldn’t be here without you guys. I feel relieved by this win and a big step in the right direction, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
