Marriott Hotels Appoints Mina Seyahi Destination Dining Manager

Marriott International has announced the appointment of Stephane Buchholzer as the new Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) for Destination Mina Seyahi’s Culinary and Food and Beverage Division.

Stephanie will manage three hotels within the complex: The Westin Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Water Park, and the recently opened W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, a luxury hotel owned by Marriott International. hotel)

Stephane Buchholzer brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. With more than 25 years of culinary experience in some of the world’s top restaurants and hotels, Buchholzer has earned a reputation for his innovative approach to cuisine and commitment to excellence, with hotels winning several awards under his leadership.

Buchholzer was appointed Culinary Director in 2010 and is now EAM Culinary and Catering before returning to the Mina Seyahi complex, reporting directly to Regional General Manager Tolga S Lacin and being responsible for the overall F&B strategy, driving innovative F&B venues across 18 business areas, Leads his culinary team and positions the complex as an award-winning dining destination.

Stephane returns to the UAE from Doha at the end of 2022, taking over roles previously held in New York City, Austria, France and Azerbaijan, with the aim of strengthening Destination Mina Seyahi’s already established position by pushing culinary boundaries. A new concept restaurant with a focus on customer recognition.

My goal is to create unique and memorable dining experiences that showcase the best of local and international cuisine.”
