After 18 months as Manager of Complex Marketing, Marriott International has promoted Tijana Lazarov to Director of Complex Marketing.
She went on to manage a portfolio of six hotels, namely Le Meridien Dubai & Convention Centre, Le Meridien Waterway, Aloft Al Mina and Aloft Dubai Airport, Element Al Mina and Element Dubai Airport, she Its hotel portfolio includes 1,247 rooms, 28 restaurant venues and bars, and a spa.
As Complex Marketing Director, Tijana will be the driving force behind her team, developing innovative strategies across the hotel to raise awareness of hotel business and consumer events, and will spearhead strategic partnerships to keep pace with industry trends.
Lazarov has extensive marketing experience in the UAE, having started her career in 2013 with Solutions & Leisure as part of the opening team for Media One Hotel Q43. Tijana also worked as a Marketing Manager for two international hotel brands entering the UAE hospitality industry. She then joined Marriott International in 2018 as Marketing Manager for Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort, where she worked for 3 years.
Her drive and commitment led to her being recognized as one of Marriott International’s MEA’s 20 High Potential Female Leaders in 2019 and a spot in Marriott’s Selective Pilot Women in Leadership Program.
