India’s most popular cooking reality show MasterChef India has arrived in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi for its semi-final week.
MasterChef India is a grand culinary show that provides a platform for professional chefs and home cooks to showcase their culinary talents and help them grow their careers within it. The cooking reality show airs weekly at 9 p.m. on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV.

The popular cooking reality show brings together the best home cooks in the country for exciting challenges that not only test their culinary skills but also prepare them for world-class cooking.
During the semifinal week of the show’s seventh season, eight contestants must prove their mettle to advance to the grand finale of the cooking challenge.
The contestants included Kamaldeep Kaur, Aruna Vijay, Priyanka Kundu Biswas, Sachin Khatwani, Gurkirat Singh, Suvarna Bagul, Santa Sarmah and Nayajyoti Saikia.
They have the opportunity to work closely with local cuisine and learn about various cultural differences.
Competitors face 5 exciting challenges on Yas and Saadiyat islands, from cooking cultural dishes using mystery boxes, to preparing street style dishes, to recreating local desserts in the MasterChef kitchen.
MasterChef India’s distinguished panel of judges – Chef Vikas Khanna and Chef Ranveer Brar – joins for the first time Chef Garima Arora, the first Indian woman to win four Michelin stars.
The judges have been coaching, testing and gracefully guiding each contestant to become India’s MasterChef. The show saw contestants from all over the country vying for the title of MasterChef India.
On Yas Island, home cooks compete in a two-person challenge. They cooked arabic street food. In the end, Suvarna-Sachin and Priyanka-Santa were the bottom 2 pairing. from them. Suvarna and Sachin are the pair who got the black apron and will perform the elimination task.
