MBZU for Humanities begins global search for new teachers

The Faculty of Humanities of Mohamed bin Zayed University (MBZU) has embarked on a global recruitment drive for teaching professionals across multiple disciplines in the Faculty of Islamic Studies and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

The recruitment drive aims to attract the best talent from around the world to fill teaching positions, allowing the University to improve its capabilities and keep up with new specialisations in its academic programmes.

In addition to Philosophy, History of Religion, Arabic and Linguistics, Sociology, Psychology, History and Archaeology.

Teaching experience

Applicants must have teaching experience in a local or international public or private higher education institution, with distinction in scientific and procedural studies. Preference will also be given to those with experience attending scientific seminars and research forums. Other requirements for prospective applicants include mastery of teaching strategies and modern educational techniques, the ability to link teaching and student life, effective research and communication skills, and expertise in assessment and evaluation.

Dr Khaled Al Dhaheri, President of Mohamed bin Zayed University for the Humanities, said: “The University has always set high standards for its academic staff and is keen to attract new teaching professionals from around the world who will also help to further improve its competence. As its reputation for academic excellence. We are looking for academics with strong qualifications and experience in teaching best practices around the world to help us produce outstanding graduates with the right knowledge, skills and values ​​to enable them to serve the community make a significant contribution.”

For his part, Dr Khalifa Al Dhaheri, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, stressed: “The current recruitment programme is part of the University’s aggressive expansion programme with a mission to strengthen its expertise in delivering world-class education in Islamic studies, humanities and social science is deeply rooted in preserving the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his vision for a more tolerant and compassionate society.”- arab trade news agency
