Yas Bay’s gleaming F&B jewel box takes on a new emerald gleam this week with the opening of McAfferty’s Irish bar.

Operating out of the Yas Island Hilton in Abu Dhabi, the absolutely sprawling capital-crazy lodge is now pouring out pints of the black stuff and generally adding some delicious Galway cheer to the vibrant retreat on the southern tip of Yas Island Voice.
McAfferty’s has a global clover-shaped footprint with three locations in Dubai (Wafi, JVC and Al Furjan) and bars in the UK, Ireland and Spain.

In addition to its stellar liquor selection, McAfferty’s is known for its Emerald Isle hospitality, live music, daring happy hour deals (noon to 8pm daily), themed nights, brunch, ladies’ night, quiz nights Famous, drink promotions, combo deals, big sports on jumbo TVs and a solid pub food menu.
We’re talking traditional Irish roasts (served daily), fish and chips, french fries, curries, pies, burgers, potatoes in a myriad of ways and pizza topped with Irish cheddar fudge.
You can expect live solo artists and bands from the likes of Daniel Walsh and Johnny Banjo; and Conleth McGeary, who unveiled the board, attended Thursday night’s opening ceremony.
