MEBAA Show 2022 will open on December 6th

MEBAA Show 2022, the highly anticipated event in business aviation, is scheduled to start tomorrow (6th December) and run until 8th December, bringing together business and private aviation industry leaders at Dubai Airshow (DWC) By.

This year, the show will have the most diverse range of exhibitors to date, with a large number of local, regional and international exhibitors. It will see the return of key players such as Airbus, Boeing, Colmux, Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream and Dassault Aviation, as well as a host of new exhibitors from over 20 countries including VOO, Executive Lifestyle, Tahseen, Mirai Flights etc.

At the all-new BizAv Talks conference, attendees will see new initiatives launched and hear from over 45 industry leaders who will share their insights on key industry topics including the future of aviation, sustainability, emerging markets and regulations.

The global private jet market is expected to grow from an estimated value of $25.87 billion in 2021 to $39.84 billion by 2025, with the Middle East, particularly the GCC region, accounting for a major portion of this growth. Most notably, the UAE saw some of the strongest business jet activity.

From January to September 2022, business jet departures in the UAE will increase by 11% compared to the same period in 2021 and by 105% compared to 20202, according to insights from aviation research and consulting firm WINGX. Most recently, the Air World Cup in Qatar led to strong demand for private jets for matchday travel from Dubai to Doha, with MEBAA exhibitor DC Aviation Al-Futtaim seeing a 22% month-on-month increase in charter inquiries on 3 October.

This demand is expected to exceed that of the World Cup, and the dramatic growth of business aviation has become a trend in many major international markets. As a result, MEBAA Show 2022 saw a surge in international audience registrations, of which more than 69% were key decision makers, all ready to witness the latest innovations and technologies shaping the industry.
