What’s the idea behind Your Company?
NAYLAM is the go-to provider in Saudi Arabia for luxury transportation. In addition to offering traditional chauffeur services, NAYLAM has pioneered niche market transportation solutions, such as city-to-city transportation within the kingdom, and international luxury transportation solutions, including trips between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
What’s the goal of Your Company?
Fortunately, NAYLAM has already realized its primary goal: to emulate the logistical efficiency of an airline within its luxury ground transportation operations.
What aspect of your service do customers appreciate the most?
Customers highly favor the flexibility of traveling between Dammam and Riyadh at their preferred times, enjoying exceptional privacy, comfort, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
What keeps Your Company moving forward even during challenges?
Given that NAYLAM’s model is a hybrid of leisure and essential travel, it is not highly susceptible to systemic risk. In fact, we launched just before COVID-19 and experienced extraordinary growth. Although airline operations were suspended during the pandemic, it was during this time that our city-to-city travel service in KSA saw a significant surge as people sought alternative means of transportation.
How is Your Company adapting to digitalization?
NAYLAM has developed in-house, state-of-the-art IT solutions to bolster its lean
logistical model, enhancing efficiency and reducing missed opportunities. As a three-year-old startup, we are only beginning to tap into the potential of this digital era brimming with endless possibilities.
Do you use innovative ideas to be unique?
When it comes to establishing companies, I personally do not agree with blindly benchmarking against other entities. Key factors I consider when launching a business idea with anticipated demand include understanding the targeted customers, the environment in which the service or product will be provided, and the applicable rules and regulations. I would not pursue methods such as duplicating a model from outside my target market or opting for quick-win franchising. As Leonardo da Vinci said, ‘The painter will produce pictures of little merit if he takes the works of others as his standard.’
What are the services/solutions or products offered by Your Company as par with the current industry standards? Tell us something about your upcoming products or services?
Being the first to offer such a service, we continuously strive to establish the highest possible service standards for our clients. NAYLAM was honored to be recognized as the Best Chauffeur Service in Saudi Arabia at the 2023 Luxury Travel Awards.
As we introduce new products and services, we will maintain a balanced risk ratio using our hybrid model that caters to both leisure and necessity. Next, we are looking to incorporate eVTOL aircraft transportation into our diverse range of offerings.
