The film by Will Honley follows Jess (Michelle Monaghan), a nurse and mother recently separated from her husband (flying saucer ulrich), she moved back to her old farmhouse with daughter Taylor (Skylar Morgan Jones) and young son Owen (Finlay Wojtak-Hissong). Shortly after settling in, Owen’s dog escaped into the woods, and returned a few days later, covered in blood and mad. When he attacked and bit Irving, the infection from the bite became more terrifying by the day as Irving’s actions became horrific and deadly. As he plunges into the depths of his illness, Jesse discovers a disturbing cure that makes her question how far she’s willing to go to keep her baby alive.
