Michigan nurse accused of stealing and selling vaccine cards on Facebook

[ad_1]

As the discussion about showing COVID vaccine certificates or negative tests continues, people seem to be using Facebook to run some programs.

According to court records, a nurse in Michigan was accused of stealing and selling vaccination cards.

“According to court records, 37-year-old Bethann Kierczak is responsible for administering vaccination doses and can obtain immunization records at her hospital in Southgate, Michigan,” Guardian report.

Kierczak is also accused of stealing the “vaccine lot number” to make it look authentic.

“Four months,” Kierczak apparently used Facebook Messenger to sell vaccine cards for $150-200 each.

According to reports, Kierczak also provided commissions to those who assisted in the sale of vaccine cards.

“On August 12, Michigan Police and the Department of Veterans Affairs notified federal authorities about Kierczak’s tips. Further investigation revealed that Kierczak offered to provide commissions to help sell these cards.”

After the authorities received the tip, it was claimed that VA nurses sometimes sell 3 vaccination cards for $1,000.

“Regardless of whether individuals choose to be vaccinated or not, we urge everyone to avoid turning to such programs to avoid vaccination requirements,” said Saima Mohsin, acting US Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan.

If the crime is convicted, the sentence for both crimes is 10 years.

As vaccine certification became a requirement, the authorities confiscated fake cards.

As Previously reported in August, Memphis authorities intercepted fake COVID vaccine cards with spelling errors.

According to CNN, authorities seized thousands of fake COVID-19 vaccination cards in Memphis, Tennessee. Traveling to New Orleans, it is reported that thousands of cards have been seized this year.

“Every night,” officials are seizing shipments from Shenzhen, China to New Orleans, Louisiana, containing dozens of blank fake vaccination cards,” CBP said.

Roommates, what do you think about people getting and selling fake vaccine cards?
