MoHRE Adds Tabby So You Can Pay Fees Over Time
Paying labour fees and fines just got a bit easier. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has rolled out MoHRE Tabby payment as a new option for customers who want more breathing room when settling their bills.
Under the new system, service fees and fines of up to Dh20,000 can be split into instalments over four to 12 months. Customers can access the MoHRE Tabby payment option through the ministry’s digital channels by selecting the instalment plan during checkout.
Mohammed Saqr Al Nuaimi, MoHRE’s Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services, said the move reflects the ministry’s push to offer more flexible digital services.
It builds on existing instalment options already available through credit cards issued by eight approved banks, including Emirates NBD, ADCB, ADIB, FAB, Mashreq and CBD.
The rollout follows a wider Ministry of Finance agreement with Tabby from late last year, aimed at bringing instalment payments to more government services across the UAE.
For businesses juggling multiple work permits or contract fees at once, this flexibility could ease short-term cash flow pressure, especially for smaller companies.
