Mondrian expands global reach, opens in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi

Ennismore – a fast-growing lifestyle hotel company – has announced a strategic global expansion of its Mondrian brand, with properties expected to open in Singapore, Ibiza, Hong Kong and Bordeaux this year.

As part of plans to open, Mondrian will debut in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with properties in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, as well as Australia’s Gold Coast and Tulum.

Mondrian Abu Dhabi is the brand’s first project in the UAE and is expected to open in 2024. Located in the bustling downtown area along the Abu Dhabi Canal, Mondrian Abu Dhabi will offer waterfront views overlooking Ream and Maria Islands, with direct views of the city skyline.

Likewise, the Mondrian Tulum Hotel & Residences, scheduled to open in 2025, will be the second Mondrian property to open in Mexico, following the success of Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. When Mondrian Riyadh opens in 2026, it will be the brand’s debut in the city and its first store in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The new hotels complement the eight existing Mondrian hotels in Doha, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, London, Seoul, Cannes and Mexico City.
