In posts and posts, however, she refers to the person she loves as “Mom.” In a series of articles, she taught her mom the difference between “cap” and “no cap.”
“The word today is Cap or No Cap…,” Monica wrote on a screenshot of the text thread. “Study with the First Lady… Mom, you get the idea.”
The text thread screenshot shows mom’s incoming text as the first message. She wrote, “So true, or as Rodney puts it, Captain!” Then Monica clarified the difference while maintaining a playful energy by using the laughing emoji.
“This is where you say NO CAP,” Monica replied in a text message. “Mom, because when you say it’s true, it means it’s a lie or a falsehood.”
Mom came back for another round of clarification. “Does the hat mean fake???” Mom wrote.
Then, Monica gave her an example of a slang term that mom may never forget.
“Yes, if someone says Monica can’t sing, you can say that’s cap lol,” replied the artist.
This moment gives us a sweet glimpse into Monica’s personal maternal relationship.About three weeks ago, she gave fans another perspective on her life by: Talk about betrayal, trust and being a good person.
At the time, it seemed unclear what sparked the small deception rant. Still, Monica touched on the topic.
“Betrayal comes after trust,” Monica wrote on her Instagram Story. “It is painful to know that we have not been betrayed by our enemies … actually betrayed by those we trusted.”
She goes on to explain how her trust in people is built.
“While I’m nice to everyone, I have a hard time trusting others,” Monica wrote. “People I trust, I am willing to give my life for them… When you betray me, you will lose me, you may not see me, but I see me clearly!!”
Despite the heavier aura of her message, Monica ended her post with a hint of positivity.
“Being a good person is difficult, but the benefits go beyond that,” Monica said. “To the good guys: keep up the good work! God got you.
