Schools across the UAE are still struggling to fill vacancies, although many are hiring new teachers and staff new school year.
The start date for vacancies is from September to January of next year.
According to Tes (formerly Times Educational Supplement), the site is one of the largest job sites in the education sector, with 133 jobs available in the country.

What jobs are available?
The website says there are 109 teaching positions, 16 non-teaching and support staff positions and 12 leadership positions.
The majority of vacancies are in Dubai, with more than 65 offered, followed by Abu Dhabi. The rest are in other parts of the UAE, including Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.
There are several adverts for opportunities targeting elementary teachers, and recruiters are looking for opportunities to start immediately this month.
Subject teachers also have a variety of opportunities, offering jobs in areas such as computer science, science, English, economics and business studies.
Some schools are also looking for inclusion specialists and counselors, but the number of positions for principals, vice-principals and seniors is small.

Jumeirah English School (JESS) in Dubai is looking for a Primary Islamic Education Support Teacher with an entry date of 1 September.
Aldar Academies is looking for a Primary Principal for Al Mamoura Academy in Abu Dhabi with an entry date of January 2023.
Both job advertisements clearly state that these positions are not suitable for newly hired teachers.
For those looking for a position in a secondary school setting, Repton Dubai’s high school is seeking the appointment of an English teacher, starting in September. The application deadline is August 26.
Gems Metropole School in the Motor City is hiring an art teacher, and they will open in September.
The criteria for applicants include at least one year of teaching experience and a degree relevant to the subject taught.
For leadership positions, Taaleem is looking for a principal to lead its Al Salam School in Abu Dhabi, a US curriculum charter school.
The specified start date is August or January of next year.
Applicants must have a master’s degree, a teaching certificate and a principal’s management qualification, as well as 5 years of school management experience in an international school from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Dubai International School in Emirates Hill is also looking for a vice-principal to start next month.
