Mumbai Indians bosses reveal names of their franchises in UAE, South African leagues

Mumbai Indians, owned by Reliance Industries Limited, have revealed the names of their newly acquired franchises in the UAE and South Africa T20 leagues. In an official announcement, they revealed the names, MI Emirates (UAE) and MI Cape Town (SA), and both teams will be donning their iconic blue and gold jerseys for the upcoming matches.

The IPL has been in the headlines recently after the cash-rich league’s franchise expanded its wings to a global league by acquiring multiple teams in different domestic tournaments around the world. A record five-time IPL champion, the Mumbai Indians are among the teams to have won teams in the recently established UAE International League T20 and Cricket South Africa T20 League.

Notably, both teams will have Mumbai Indians (MI) in their name because teams in the UAE League are named MI Emirates, The acquisition in the South African League is called MI Cape Town.Nita Ambani The director of Reliance Industries expressed delight at the acquisition and said the franchise’s goal is to foster a fearless and positive attitude that goes beyond cricket.
