National Basketball Association (NBA) and Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) today announced a groundbreaking multi-year partnership that will host the first NBA game in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Beginning in 2022, the NBA preseason in Abu Dhabi will mark the first game of the two NBA teams in the Arabian Gulf.
This cooperation will enable DCT Abu Dhabi to become the official tourism destination partner of the NBA in China, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa under the UAE’s capital’s tourism promotion program “Visit Abu Dhabi”.
