NCM issues weather forecast through Sunday

ABU DHABI – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a forecast for partly cloudy to cloudy skies starting today with some convective clouds associated with rainfall in scattered parts of the country, especially along the coast, north and east .

The weather will change from light to moderate winds, gradually clearing up in the morning, sometimes very strong winds, especially at sea, with wind speeds of 15 – 30 and up to 50 km/h. As for the sea, mild weather is expected, with progressively severe to sometimes very severe weather in the Arabian Gulf and mild to severe weather in the Sea of ​​Oman.

According to tomorrow’s forecast, the mainland will be humid in the morning, the sky will be generally cloudy, and low clouds are expected to appear along the western coast and parts of the east. Thursday will also be dominated by northerly and easterly breezes and moderate winds, with speeds of 15-25 to 40km/h at times westwards, while marine weather will be gale to moderate winds in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to light winds in the Sea of ​​Oman .

Parts of the inland areas will be generally wet in the morning on Friday, with skies at times cloudy to partly cloudy and temperatures gradually rising. Mostly light to moderate winds on Friday, strengthening at times to the west, with winds of 10 – 20 km/h reaching 40 km/h, with light to moderate and severe weather expected overnight in the Arabian Gulf , while Oman has a slight weather sea.

At the same time, Saturday is generally cloudy, with low clouds and light rain over some coastal areas and islands in the west, and some inland areas may be wet in the morning.
Light to moderate winds will prevail, sometimes 10 – 20 moving westward, with winds reaching 40 km/h, while daytime offshore weather in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of ​​Oman will be light to moderate, sometimes moving westward.

Parts of the inland area will be wet early Sunday with generally cloudy skies and low cloud over parts of the western coast. Winds will remain light to moderate with occasional increases of 10 – 20 km/h to 35 km/h and seas in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of ​​Oman will experience light to moderate weather.
