Abu Dhabi Welcomes New France Visa Center with Remote Application Option

France Visa Center VFS Global has launched a dedicated centre in Abu Dhabi for processing France visa applications, extending its services to cover all seven emirates. The new facility, located at The Mall – World Trade Centre on Khalifa Bin Zayed the 1st Street, was inaugurated on December 18 by Soumya Zelmat, Consul of France in Abu Dhabi.

Flexible Application Options

Applicants now have the flexibility to apply remotely using the ‘Visa At Your Doorstep’ service or in person at the newly established centre. Soumya Zelmat emphasized the commitment to fostering exchanges between France and the UAE, providing efficient services for individuals planning to visit France.

Exclusive Focus on France Visa Processing

The newly dedicated centre, exclusively focused on France, aims to streamline the visa application process across all seven emirates, offering efficiency and convenience.

Growing Demand for France as a Destination

Ms. Monaz Billimoria, Regional Head at VFS Global, highlighted the increasing demand for France as a destination, citing a significant 45% growth in visa applications from the UAE as of November 2023 compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

Enhanced Facilities and Optional Services: France Visa Center

The new premises feature a spacious waiting area, state-of-the-art biometric facilities, and a dedicated space promoting France as a destination, providing essential information for applicants. Travellers using this centre can also choose from a range of optional services, including a courier return service, Prime Time for submitting applications outside regular hours, visa assistance, and form filling by trained professionals.

Premium Lounge for Personalized Assistance: France Visa Center

For those seeking a more personalized experience, the Premium Lounge offers end-to-end assistance throughout the visa application process in a comfortable and luxurious setting.

Important Note for Schengen Visa Applicants: France Visa Center

Applicants seeking Schengen visas for countries other than France in Abu Dhabi are advised to continue visiting the Joint Visa Application Centre at World Trade Centre Mall for document submission.
