The monotonous life of a melancholy sandwich maker is intertwined by two charming sisters in this dark comedy rock parable. With the 1965 Northeast blackout as the background, a comprehensive ode to young love, red eye flight is a story about moving forward and finding hope in a world shrouded in darkness.

We would like to acknowledge that we are located in the traditional territory of the Lenape, the indigenous people of the Northeast Woodland.
The Old Library Theatre was founded in Fairlawn in 1967 by a handful of dreamers who wanted to make theatrical performances accessible to everyone. The original theater was located on River Road, but the company relocated in 2006 to the George Frey Performing Arts Center in the heart of the Fair Lawn community. Now in season 55, our goal is to continue our tradition of providing quality community entertainment at an affordable cost.
