The latest regulations for incoming passengers…
The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee announced a slight relaxation of inbound travel regulations for passengers arriving in the emirate from overseas.
From Sunday, August 15, 2021, the rules are as follows:
Take off from a green list country
Both vaccinated and unvaccinated people will undergo a PCR test upon arrival. If the arrival test is negative, neither group does not need to be isolated.
Vaccinated passengers arriving from a green list country are currently required to undergo further PCR testing on the 6th day after arriving in the capital (the day of your arrival is regarded as the first day).
Unvaccinated passengers from green list countries must undergo PCR testing on the sixth and ninth days after arriving in the capital.
Take off from a non-green list country
The most recent rule was updated on July 5, 2021.
Passengers who are vaccinated need to be quarantined for 7 days and undergo PCR testing on arrival and on the 6th day.
Passengers who have not been vaccinated need to be quarantined for 10 days (previously 12 days) and undergo PCR testing on arrival and on the 9th day.
Those who need to be quarantined must wear a tracking bracelet to ensure that the quarantine order is not broken. Individuals found to have violated the regulations will face huge fines.
Arrive in Abu Dhabi by road after traveling by sea
If you have returned from a non-greenlisted country within the past 12 days, you will need to follow the procedures described above. You may be required to stay in Dubai until the quarantine period specified below (10 or 7 days, depending on the vaccination situation) has passed, as there is no guarantee to wear the tracking bracelet on the road boundary.

Tourist corridor
If you are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (the last dose of vaccine was given at least 28 days before travel), you do not need to be quarantined when traveling between Abu Dhabi and the following countries: Bahrain, Greece, Serbia and Seychelles you.
