Newborns bring new Eid cheer to UAE parents

Babies continue to bring smiles to everyone and they truly make 21 April 2023 another memorable day amid the hustle and bustle of the UAE’s four-day Eid celebrations.

Moroccan parents Fatima Zahra and Badr El Ammari On the auspicious day of Eid al-Fitr, a baby boy, Arbi El Ammari, was born at RAK Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah.

Badr El Ammari said: “My mood is indescribable. The joy of Eid and the joy of Ramadan mingled with energy. I am happy and lucky to welcome my child on this day.”

Dr Raza Siddiqui, Executive Director of RAK Hospital said, “Being a parent is a great blessing and welcoming your baby at this joyous occasion doubles the celebration. My congratulations to the parents and happy Eid al-Fitr to all.”

Ghazal was born to her Moroccan-Egyptian parents, Touria Kadouri and Ahmed Moheb, at Abu Dhabi’s Medeor Hospital at midnight on Friday ; Delivered by Walid El Sherbiny, Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazal/Consultant Professor, weighing 2.86 kg. The ecstatic parents were “overjoyed” and extremely happy.

“This Eid al-Fitr will always hold a special place in our hearts because of this beautiful gift. Our whole family is overwhelmed. We would like to thank Dr. El Sherbiny and the medical staff for their support and care.”

From Dr El-Sherbiny: “We are always happy to be a part of these joyful moments in people’s lives. Giving birth is always a special event and it is truly a blessing to give birth on such an important day as Eid. We wish the baby and Parents have a healthy and happy future.”

The first family to welcome a newborn at Danat Al Emarat Women’s and Children’s Hospital, also in Abu Dhabi, was Al Jaberis in the UAE. At 4.01am, they welcomed their newborn baby girl, who weighed 2.7kg.

Father Saif Rashed Al Jaberi is grateful for “the most beautiful gift that Allah has given us this Eid. I would also like to thank the entire hospital team for taking care of my wife and children.”

A baby boy was born minutes later, and eight more are expected, according to a news release.

Omar Al Naqbi, Acting Executive Director of the Hospital, said: “We are delighted to welcome two newborns on this Eid occasion. This heartwarming event reinforces the special care and commitment we, as nurses, provide to these newborns and their families. commitment to support.”

At the International Modern Hospital in Dubai, Kinda was born to Syrian couple Eman Mohammad Zarak and Nader Hanoun weighing 2.92 kg.

In a joint statement, Zarak and Hanon said: “We are delighted that our long-awaited little princess was born on this auspicious day. We thank the entire medical team.”

“We are so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful occasion when the whole world is praying for Eid al-Fitr,” said Dr Mira Anto.

Indian parents Huda Khadeer Mohammed and mechanical engineer Mohammed Nissanr Ahmed gave birth to a baby boy, Mohammed Hamdan Nissanr, at the NMC Specialist Hospital in Abu Dhabi on Eid al-Fitr. Parents said they were delighted their children were born on this special day. “It’s a real blessing for us.”

Dr Sunita Gupta, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology said, “Eid! I am very happy to deliver baby Huda on this auspicious day. May Allah bless him with happiness and good health.”

Indian couple Prisilla Susan Thomas and oil terminal operator Ruben Simon Johnson gave birth to a baby boy named Ben at the NMC Specialist Hospital in Al Ain Ben Johnson Simon.

Dr Aruna Janaki, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, said: “Due to fetal distress, the mother had to undergo an emergency caesarean section. After the caesarean section, both mother and baby are doing well.”

The parents said: “We chose Dr Aruna Janaki because of her good reputation and the feedback from mothers who gave birth under her care. This is our firstborn so we are very particular about everything and we need to provide The baby chose the right hand. The tender love and care of the nursing staff, combined with the extra effort the doctors put in handling my delivery made our experience exceed our expectations.”
