Question 1. Explain the background of you and the company in detail.
Prior to founding ATDXT LLC, I led critical functions of renowned global technology companies such as HP Enterprise, Oracle, and IBM. My team and I were driving progressive digital transformation, cloud, and other related businesses during my tenure with them. However, I noticed that only a limited section, mostly in developed economies, was drawing benefits from these digital transformation technologies.
The idea of ATDXT was conceived to promote digital transformation and enrich and uplift the lives of the common people across the world with an initial focus on developing nations of the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East. Our goal remains to develop and enable sustainable digital economies across the world with a focus on the regions which are lagging in digital infrastructure and transformation.
Today, the Company is present in 14 countries, providing in-country data centres and cloud, digital transformation services, and solutions to its clients. Our solutions comprise (but not limited to) e-government & e-commerce services, eHealth solutions, fintech solutions, transportation solutions, digital identity solutions, telecommunication transformation systems, Governance, crime management and cyber security services, e-Agriculture platforms, solar and renewable energy amongst others.
Question 2. What are your goals?
ATDXT strives to bridge the digital divide and enable digital convergence through advanced technology. We believe that this convergence would result in a transformation of the digital economies in the Middle East, Africa, and Far East Asia, and lead to a quicker integration with the global economy.
My vision for ATDXT is to create a legacy that directly impacts communities. Our in-country cloud and data centre would create in-country jobs, IT skills development, and entrepreneurship among the young population, resulting in improved lives and living standards for millions.
Question 3. What do you feel is the biggest strength of yourself/your company right now?
I believe, any successful enterprise, or an individual for that matter, is based on several pillars, and it is the amalgamation of various qualities that make any venture a success. However, to answer your question, the knowledge and experience of the core team and the dedication of our employees with the courage to innovate is the biggest strength of ATDXT.
Question 4. What was the path you/your company took to get to where you are today?
The undying commitment, conviction, and passion towards the vision have created the way for ATDXT so far and will continue to do so. The path has been simple, exploring uncharted regions and markets having great potential, leading ATDXT to enjoy the first mover’s advantage. The higher but calculated risk has resulted in higher and better returns. Overall, I would say the path we tread with the greater goal and vision in mind rewarded us.
Questions 5. Why did you start (or want to be the head of) this company?
Our vision defines the purpose and objective of starting ATDXT, working toward achieving digital convergence and revolutionizing the digital world.
Question 6. What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The challenge with any start-up or a new venture is to create a team of self-motivated individuals aligned with the company’s goals and to train them with excellence. With almighty’s grace, I have been able to develop a great team that is constantly fuelling ATDXT’s growth.
Question 7. Give us one word that describes you the best.
I reposted this question to my colleagues and fellow DXTants, as I believe they are better equipped to answer it. Amongst various responses obtained, such as Charismatic, Assiduous, Inspirational, and Compassionate, “Visionary” was the term that resonated with me, particularly the phase of my life I’m currently in. I believe being a Visionary encompasses all the other traits highlighted by my colleagues. It is my conviction towards the vision of creating a legacy transcending boundaries and bringing a significant improvement in the lives of millions of people that drives me to do better each day.
Question 8. What makes you excited about Mondays?
Man is a social animal, and I am a firm believer in that. I would not shy away from saying that I am a people person; nothing excites me more than to meet people, interact with them and get to know them. So, to answer your questions, the most exciting thing about Monday is Meeting my team, which is my extended family.
Question 9. What do you value most about your culture and vision?
We are in the process of creating a great culture and vision at ATDXT. Whilst ingenuity, talent, merit, dedication, and employee well-being (emotional, mental, and physical) would form the pillars of this structure. Ethics is “the” single ingredient that forms the foundation and has led to the fruition of the idea that was ATDXT.
Question 10. Tell us about a project that forced you to be innovative and creative.
You would appreciate that each technology project has its unique challenges, more so when the key resource, i.e., capital, is constrained.
Many of our current projects are with the growing economies of Africa, with funding being a major challenge. Team ATDXT has implemented ambitious projects with first-of-a-kind cost models, which are generating revenue for those countries without any investments from these countries. We have developed affordable and cost-effective solutions clubbed with innovative revenue and funding models.
Question 11. What are the strategies of your company, and how do they stand unique from your competitors?
Our strategy has been simplistic and straightforward. We, as a team, try to be solution-driven, offering optimal and effective solutions to our clients. This allows us to offer a comprehensive range of end-to-end solutions, making us the single source for sophisticated data centre and digital transformation solutions.
Question 14. How do you see the company changing in two years, and how do you see yourself creating that change?
ATDXT is poised to witness hyper-growth in the next 2-3 years across the segments, both horizontally and vertically. This growth would be achieved organically and inorganically, wherein certain strategic acquisitions will be undertaken. The focus will be hyper growth aligned with ATDXT’s vision, mission, and core values. The company has near-term plans to expand its fintech products and services with an online portfolio to show off its cutting-edge products and solutions. ATDXT is also investing heavily in Innovation labs, High-Performance Computation and Blockchain, which we believe will bear fruits in the near future.
